Prices
One price doesn't fit 175 countries

$9.99 a month feels cheap in the US and expensive in India, Brazil or Turkey. With one price everywhere, you lose buyers in many countries.
How Apple sets your prices
You pick a base country and a price. Apple then sets a price for every other App Store from exchange rates and taxes, and updates it when those change. These prices follow the currency, not what people can afford.
You can set your own price per country
In App Store Connect you can change the price for single countries. Many subscription apps charge less where incomes are lower, and win more paying users there.
Where to start
- Look for countries where you already get downloads, but few people pay.
- Lower the price there first, one country at a time.
- Compare paying users and revenue after a few weeks, not after a few days.
- Keep your price in your strongest countries until you've seen results.
A fair price for every country, worked out for you, is coming to Fermium100 soon.
